FAQ

Q. Is there a guarantee that the coaches listed will be there?

A. No. All of the coaches listed have agreed to participate, but we schedule our camps very far in advance. Schedules change. Coaches leave the school they are currently at. Health issues come up. If a coach line up needs to be adjusted, we will do our very best to replace a scheduled coach with one from a similarly competitive school.

Q. Who will be doing the training at the camp?

A. All of the coaches at our camps are the head or assistant coaches of the school they represent.

Q. Do the athletes need to play for premier teams?

A. No. While the camp does draw a large number of high quality players, we encourage any athletes who have an interest in playing at the collegiate level to attend and gather as much knowledge/experience as possible.

Q. Who can register for the camp?

A. We do separate camps based on gender. Athletes must be in or will be in 8th grade in the calendar year of the camp and cannot have reached their 21st birthday as of the date of the camp.

Q. Do you have space for Goalkeepers?

A. Yes. This can be a very good opportunity for Keepers.

Q. Can an athlete attend more then one camp?

A. Yes. You can register for as many camps as you wish.

Q. My athlete is not sure what level they want to play in college. Is this the right camp for them?

A. Yes. Having the opportunity to play with other interested athletes and to discuss their ambitions with the coaches will go a long way towards helping them sort that out.

Q. If we only attend some of the days, is there a discount?

A. The NCAA requires that no participants receive a special or discounted price. As such we do not offer any discounts or scholarships.

Q. How do I register for the camp?

A. Simply visit the registration page listed with each event. If you are having trouble with that then please contact us via email. admin@collegesoccercamp.net

Q. What is the refund policy?

A. Refunds are considered if we receive email notification at least 30 days in advance. There will be a $50 administrative fee for any refund or schedule change. If camp is cancelled due to coronavirus restrictions, a full refund minus a $15 processing fee will be applied.

Q. Is there a refund if a coach cancels?

A. In rare cases, a coach may cancel their attendance. Due to our relationships with the coaches, it is rare for a coach to cancel. We will do everything possible to replace the coach. However, refunds are not given if a coach cancels.

Q. What type of payment do you accept?

A. Currently we accept credit card payment online or you can mail a check.

Q. Do you provide overnight accommodations?

A. No. This is a daytime event only. The scheduled times for the event are the only times we are available to supervise the athletes. You are welcome to make arrangements on your own if needed. Feel free to contact us for suggestions.

Q. Will there be a trainer on site?

A. Yes, we will have a Certified Athletic Trainer on site to help out. If your player needs taping, they should bring tape with them. Emergencies will be directed to the local Fire/EMS department. If the athlete becomes ill/injured during camp, you will be contacted and asked to pick him/her up.

Q. What should the participant bring with them to camp?

A. They will need a ball, shin guards, and water bottle. If the athlete needs medicine or an inhaler, they need to bring that and care for it while at camp.  They do not need to bring lunch; we will provide that.

Q. Is it OK for the athletes to contact the participating coaches.

A. Yes. We encourage you to contact any schools you might be interested in attending. The coaches will receive a list of participants prior to the camp date.

Q. Are parents allowed to attend?

A. Parents are encouraged to allow the athletes to experience the camp on their own. If you do want to stay and watch we will direct you to a specific area. Under no circumstances should parents approach the coaches.
